You heard that right, and I am not one to be facetious in my development posts. The very first demo for Project Petunia is now available for download on Windows and Linux. Three levels are playable in the demo (and some debug stuff if you like messing around a bit more) and I am very interested in hearing any feedback people might have on how the game plays.

If you are interested in trying out a platformer in its most vestigial state and perhaps even having a hand in shaping its future, please swing by the game's Itch.Io page and give it a spin.

I'll write more things like this and like my previous posts, but I make no promises about when. fwiw I have gone through this post to add images that were missing (took a while) and make sure there's no blatant errors but it really is unfinished.

As one of the computers of all time, the Commodore 64 sure has a distinctive look. If you know what to look for it's often easy to tell when a game was made for the C64. The color palette is an obvious key indicator, but it's more than that. A lot of game graphics look kinda stretched out, or sometimes chunkier than they should given the resolution. Why is that?

I started producing my own music in 2016. This is a fun fact. The second fun fact is that to this day I am a terrible producer.

I was originally planning on making an ad at some point on artist alley or something once my current game, Project Petunia had reached the point where it needed good music, but as I am sure you are aware that won't be an option in the future. So I am more or less making an open call to anyone who does music work on commission or the like. If you are interested in perhaps ending up with some work from me either send me a personal message with contact details, or just slap it in the comments below. We don't have much time left after all before the end of all things.

I should note that this work might not come immediately, or even for some time depending on how the development of my project goes, but as I said before, I didn't plan on asking this soon.
