My process for figuring out their redesigns
They needed a lot more thought and note taking than when I did other redesigns for BRY, since they are the primary colors, theyre kinda the main ones, and i wanted to do them right
But the themes were a lot more vague so i had to figure that out too

Today, I feel it the most. I feel the pain of Cohost's closure not in any stage of my grief, but in the eggbug-shaped hole left in the amalgamation of my voice.
I want to ramble about Rings of Power. About how much of a justified hater Elrond is (despite inheriting Vilya from Gil-galad), and how resistant a half elf can be to the Ring's influence. I wanna ramble about how easily Numenor crumbles, despite the strength of Men, and how fucked up it is that the only thing that separates Numenoreans from Southmen is that sliver of Valar light and elven lineage in their blood.
But I can feel the emptiness here. The feed is quiet, when it's not soft lamenting. Even the cohost global feed is quiet, which was never the case. It seems only the diehard chosters remain.
I will be one of them. I will be here. I will honour this place as something good that came of a modern world so full of awful things. I will endure after it passes, and hold its truths in my heart, and strive to carry them forward. I will be an Elrond for Eggbug.
I will be moving my archive in the coming days, posting a comic here every Friday in color until I can't, and posting a proper sign-off on the 30th. I will then probably go back to the simple "black and yellowish paper" format for a while while I'm getting comfortable with my new home I guess. I'm also debating if I should have Ohost close down in the little world I've created or if I should forever keep the idea of a better place to post alive, that way eggbug can still pop up on Sally's phone from time to time.
