Cohost has been my main form of social media basically since it launched. I really liked this little queer street corner cafe of a website.

I could talk about the website structure, but instead I want to just thank you all for being yourselves. Cohost has an excellent collection of small communities that would sometimes find their way onto my feed.

(In no particular order) To all the taurs, therians, yinglets, plural systems, trans folks, css crimers, game devs, weirdos, disability advocates, people posting about their current hyper fixations, people posting about their longtime special interest, poets, photographers, writers of short stories, and shit-chosters, thank you. I learned a lot. I laughed a lot. I experienced safe positive internet community like I never have before. You all made this place special

I've never been super big into an MMO or played an online game until it shut down, but that's the vibe I am getting so strongly right now. It's so bittersweet.

I glad I was part of this while it was here. Im super sad it's closing. This was a cozy and comfy place of cool people and seratonin and where I didn't mind sharing my dumb ramblings and thoughts (and I didn't have to try and condense it and struggle with wording and didn't feel weird to be perceived).

I tend to lurk in most places, but maaaaybe I'll consider being a little more active, maybe kick the "I have nothing worth contributing" demons away a smidge.
