I didn't end up using cohost much in the end. I was here for a while but found the place wasn't exactly for me. Yet this still feels immensely tragic to me. Cohost to me was a better, healthier successor to tumblr. It was a social site truly created for people and artists. That had their well beings in mind. That was more about creating a pleasant and worthwhile experience than shoring up their bottom line. Which... unfortunately, was too good for our capitalist world.
Every account that made this place home and every post they've made getting dusted away at the end of the year is just too sad. The entire stamping out of a community and their knowledge and art never feels good. Even though I couldn't quite get a grip here, and make this my full time community, I still felt like what was here was good and made the internet a better place. Consequently, it's going to be a worse place without it.
The thing I'm most scared about is I'm going to remember people and posts and things and experiences from here, but not their names, not all of them.
But I don't want to forget any of you.
Music stuff:
Youtube
Soundcloud
Other:
Twitter where I sometimes promote my music
Twitter where I repost neat stuff (more active, but locked so ya know)
Tumblr where I am barely active (but might become more active)
And if you happen to use VKontakte, I'm also there
Also you can add me on discord, @ orthogonalcaster. I'm very bad at finding new people to talk to (and talking to them), but I'd be glad to make some new friends :)
