Hey, all.

This has been the social media that I've been the most comfortable with in a very long time. I'm sad to see it go, but I understand why it's closing. Sucks to see so many awesome websites like this go under every time while the awful ones are still kicking in spite of management actively trying to destroy them. I guess I actually will have to use the likes of Bsky, even though I didn't want to.

I may revive a few accounts, I may add more if I find any locations worth trying out. But for now, I must say goodbye to one of the coziest places I've ever found on the modern internet. I take no effort to hide my disgust and anger at this site. However it is worth noting that I've met a lot of cool folks here, many of whom remain friends to this very day. Cohost was responsible for me discovering Empty Spaces which in turn was responsible for me discovering my own gender identity. As much as I think cohost is (and now, was) a site plagued by a sycophantic community that harassed and bullied anyone who didnt fit in away, I cannot deny that it has had a profoundly positive impact on me.
