This sucks. Not going to sugarcoat it or anything. We've all got a month to pack up our stuff and find a new place to live. Download anything you want to save and reach out to your friends on other platforms. Other than that the only thing left to do is sit back and be glad that it happened.

Thank you for making this the only tolerable, nay enjoyable social media platform I've found. I love Cohost, and one of the major reasons is just the great community and atmosphere here. So many fellow neurodivergent folks, creachurs, tf fans, etc. You're all great and I wish you all happiness with whatever comes next.

I'm gonna do my best to find y'all elsewhere, but knowing how it went with the Tumblr exodus of 2019, I'll probably lose track of many, maybe even most of you. Please don't just flock to Twitter or Bluesky, those sites are awful. I don't know about you, but I'll be keeping watch for another site with this format. (Besides Pillowfort and Tumblr which, frankly, suck)

Anyway, again- thanks for making this site awesome while it lasted, all you taurs, yinglets, kobolds, dragons, amphimorphos, and assorted other critters. This place has been truly special, and you're the main reason why. o7

pretty sad about the news, I did figure it always was likely and possible, but I'll miss the ideas this platform brought, css crimes were wonderful and it gave me a cool way to express myself on social media that I enjoyed occasionally indulging in.

given that it's going goodbye and this was my only really actively kept social media I won't be findable anywhere else really in this format... soundcloud, youtube and similar are for my works and well... I guess I have more of reason to make my personal wesbsite have a blog section hehe,,,

oh and how wonderfully queer everything and everyone was... this was the best part about this space.. so nice feeling...

Genuinely one of the only sites I enjoyed posting on. A very casual and fun vibe from this site. I'm very sad to hear that it's shutting down.
