i hate this fucking discord server im in
these assholes are always having all these engaging conversations with each other about fucking stupid fighting games or some randomly obscure ass japanese media
but whenever i try to do or share something im passionate about like my writing or a movie i like they ignore it for hours to days on end at best, and at worst make fun of me about it or even chastise me for even posting about it, like the time i posted about avatar 2 making bank at the box office and one user who didnt like said movie saw fit to throw my dating problems in face for it
and i cant say anything about it because they even chastise me for being upset about this or get mad at me when i try to draw attention to what im doing
theyre always in voice chat with each other at all hours of the day even as early as 7 am to the point where ive been chastised by them for not being there, but the 2 times i tried to stream starfield for them only one user showed up one time, or any other time i try to have a voice chat none of them join
80% of that fucking place makes me feel like a fucking outcast, theres like 4 or 5 users im cool with there and the rest treat me like dirt and think theyre so much better than me and my media tastes because im not a stuck up, irony poisoned, myopic fuckhead like them and theres nothing i can do about it, not even leave, because theyre like the one of two "friend" circles i have in the world
i left that place in march and ever since then i havent had the specific heartbreakingly painful worry about people i call friends treating me like dirt damn thats crazy
