I recently had a medical crisis in my family and the stress trying to balance everything got so bad that I wound up dissociating. To such an extent that I decided to play the remastered Dragon Quest for the Switch. As such, I felt like penning a little love letter to generic retro fantasy jRPGs. They really did capture something special about the wizards and warriors genre and the spirit of tabletop gaming, and then streamlined it into a single player experience.
Fuck it, let's do a little world building.

the reticle is just a very tiny white dot btw for those who havent played, and also the very first chapter of the game is set in heavily snowy region
