Light filters into room 7/30 through a vine-draped archway built into the northern wall. Peering out reveals thick, rope-like vines climbing the exterior wall of the Tower, leading up to the next floor. Columns decorated in gossamer threads stand in the middle of the room, out of place in a space that once belonged to Giants. A tall skeleton covered in briars and flowers sits in a pile of blooming bushes in the northwest corner. The Corpse Gallant stands and politely confronts anyone passing through the room who isn't undead, fey, or elvish.
#The Tree & The Tower
A long pool made of marble stone sits in the center of room 7/29. Water as dark as a night sky fills its basin. If an adventurer drinks from it, they get a vision that changes depending on the phase of the moon that day. If it is a new moon, they are revealed a terrifying truth. If it is a full moon, they are provided a clue to a mystery perplexing them. On any other night, they receive a vision of a clear night sky, with the moon in its current phase. Strangely, the moon is whole and unbroken.
Room 7/27 prominently features a pit full of brush and branches that descends to the floor below. Benches sit around the pit and a table with chairs sits in the southwest corner. The furniture is decorated with etchings of skulls, briars, and flowers.
Room 7/27 is cramped, and that feeling is made worse with much of the room taken up by a squat tree. An irritable dryad stands guard, monitoring access to the locked northern door; the key to the door sticks out of her leafy hair. She can be convinced to open the door if adventurers make some more space for her. If they go the extra mile and manage to somehow move the entire tree safely outdoors, she'll grant them a fey blessing as well as a Leaf Sprite born from her tree.
