#The Tree & The Tower

The door to room 7/2 is barred from the outside hallway. Inside, the room is a partially collapsed lab sized for giants. Step stools and ladders are built into parts of the room to allow smaller races to move about. A large table is precariously perched on the collapsing floor, ready to tip over and crash into the roof of Twinkle Bitterberry's home well below.

A large, brass barrel filled with peculiar holes moves about the room, animated by a water elemental bound inside it. The elemental slides ribbons of water out of slats in the brass body. It is aggressive and attacks any intruders it notices before moving back to eternally cleaning the remains of the lab.

A similar, smaller barrel sits on a cabinet. This is large enough to bind a water sprite, if one were cruel.

Room 7/1 is hotter than the surrounding rooms, and only the open walls and space of the room mitigate it. A kitchen is built into the southwest corner, with a grill on a platform outside. A large, giant-sized reservoir of water is on the east wall. Climbing a stepladder to the top reveals it to be ever-full of hot water that doesn't overflow. Clothes lines dot the room and a bath is curtained off in the center.

In the northwest corner are a series of latrines or toilets; anything placed inside either is disintegrated or teleported away, and no Cord has volunteered to step-in and find out.

The western wall opens to a platform and a set of stairs that climb up to room 6/25.

A single Tower Cord seems devoted to cooking while another is bathing in the center. One or more Cords might idle about, but most retreat to the relative cool of other rooms.

Room 6/29 is a patchwork balcony bolted and nailed to the outside of the Tower. A contraption is secured to the southern edge of the balcony. A chain descends from the contraption, attaching to a barrel large enough for two human-sized adventurers to tightly squeeze into. When a lever on the contraption is thrown, the barrel silently and steadily descends to or ascends from just outside the walls of the ground floor of the Tower.
