Room 5/18 is full of smoke and hot steam as a bunch of fiery licks evaporate the water that's leaked in from the next-door fountain. The room is heavily burned, including a once impressive statue of the Hobgoblin Divine Hero. A mural on the north wall is mostly burned away, revealing signs of what once was a hidden door. The mechanism to open it has been damaged by the fire. Adventurers might have to bash their way through the door if they can't figure out how to repair the mechanism.
#The Tree & The Tower
Room 5/16 is full of a dissonant song. The song itself is centered over a fountain that ceaselessly overflows with water that pools along the floors and halls, only stopping once its soaked through or boiled off. The sound is part of a goblin song, distorted. The full, proper tune is known to the ghostly remnants within the Tree, as well as Strum, the last remaining goblin. If the full song were completed, it would end the flooding and summon a grateful water sprite.
A lift from floor 4 leads up to room 5/16, where it sputters and stops working; from here on out, the only way down is by stairs. Halls branch off from a small, smokey plaza. The only light is a dim orange glow from flames down the halls.
Room 5/15 is locked, copies of the key in the possession of Gargu and Rest. The room is built such that it opens into another plane all together, one bathed in perpetual night sky under an unbroken moon. Inside it is cluttered, pulling double duty as a kitchen for Gargu and a necromantic lab for Rest. The current experiment is a copy of the spiritual ooze that coats the gate leading into the Graveyard branch. If it is interacted with in any way, it lashes out with ectoplasmic tendrils ending in mouths. Any living creature in the room must make a Saving Throw vs Paralysis. On a failure, they are restrained for a Turn and take damage from the frigid bites.
