#The Tree & The Tower

Room 4/26 is well lit thanks to a low bed of flames that covers the entire floor of the home. The furnishings still stand, but are burnt or heavily smoke damaged. Clouds of smoke fill the upper parts of the room, and any person roughly human-size or larger must Save vs Poison if they stand it for more than a few seconds or risk Strength Exhaustion from smoke inhalation; As long as they stand in it, they also cannot see.

The map from room 3/27 leads to this room and a skull and crossbones is marked on it, indicating some foul action. In the bedroom in the northeast room, a goblin lies in bed, multiple hatchets stuck into them, but not consumed by the flames. If the body is fully destroyed, the flames go-out and whatever enchantment is connected to the map from 3/27 considers its condition for the room fulfilled.

Room 4/25 is an empty plaza that houses a set of stairs and a lift. Both stairs and lift extend up and down from this floor. Across from them is a statue of carved, polished wood that's been heavily burned and gouged. Close inspection suggests it once depicted a small band of goblin musicians. The room smells of a wet, extinguished campfire.

Room 4/24 is a dark room utterly trashed from a fierce fight. A hole in the middle wall reveals the bars of a holding pen to the east. A southern storage room is locked by a push-button lock stylized as a bar of music. A sign on the wall is torn off, but if found in the debris says CAUTION in big, goblin letters.

The code for the lock can be found in parts elsewhere. Part of it written on a piece of paper found in the notes in room 4/14; The rest on a burnt scrap of paper in the backstage of room 4/18. If the code's entered wrong or the lock forced or picked, a lullaby spins up in the room, and everyone must save vs spell or fall asleep for several turns.

Inside the closet is a plethora of cop gear. Cop armor, cop weapons, cop instruments. But above them all, on a mantle is a Singing Sword that was two days away from retirement when things went down in The Tree all those years ago. This Cop Sword can be convinced to go on one more ride by adventurers in-need, but it loves to sing and it loves being a cop.
