Ashamed with myself that I've missed out on WFMU for so long. The weird experimental morning shows i've been hearing are perfect for me who is once again sick of informative human voices a la podcasts and morning news shows

It took me a MILLION years but i finished Perdido Street Station. No spoilers here's a tepid review
It's partially because I want to collect footage of fight scenes for art/animation reference but i also realize that I don't watch a lot of action-oriented stuff. Action choreography is always impressive when I see it but that's probably becuase I haven't seen much of it.
I have Train to Busan in my watchlist, and recently revisited A Bittersweet Life, but other than that I don't have many ideas of good action.
[late edit: i also have Oldboy on the docket. Never seen it but i plan on that one]
In fact they don't even need to be good. I just need some solid violence in my life
