It took me a MILLION years but i finished Perdido Street Station. No spoilers here's a tepid review
#Trash stratum
It's partially because I want to collect footage of fight scenes for art/animation reference but i also realize that I don't watch a lot of action-oriented stuff. Action choreography is always impressive when I see it but that's probably becuase I haven't seen much of it.
I have Train to Busan in my watchlist, and recently revisited A Bittersweet Life, but other than that I don't have many ideas of good action.
[late edit: i also have Oldboy on the docket. Never seen it but i plan on that one]
In fact they don't even need to be good. I just need some solid violence in my life
Currently burning all my digital art files from 2021-2022 onto a bluray disk in order to
A.) Pretend that I do "delete my art" in a show of fleeting ephemera despite it being archived on physical media
B.) Ensure that I don't go trawling through my old files in a waste of time to feel nostalgic and scrape old ideas, getting nothing done in the process
C.) free up a fuck ton of hard drive space
D.) Hopefully enstate some sort of new years tradition for my storage
I may do the same thing with my music files, too, but there's too many disorganized folders in there
