I agree with the idea of releasing an easily-accessible version of the original alongside any given remaster of a game. But what does original mean? Tony Hawk 2 is a very different game on the PlayStation than it is on the Dreamcast, N64, Xbox, PC, GBA, and Game Boy Color. How much can/should we reasonably expect as a norm?
Like, I would love the answer to just be "we wrapped all these ports in emulator shells and packaged them up with THPS 1+2", but we only really get that for bespoke retro collections. Also, where does that unfortunate Xbox 360 "HD" remake of THPS 1 and 2 that ran in UE3 for some reason fit? i'd love to be all like "just leave it out lol" and it does slurp turds, but that's history right there, yo understand?
