  1. I just answered another ask about this but to recap: She’s got no upper limit but more charge = less control, posing a danger to her surroundings

  2. hell yeah she does, right behind and just a tad below her ears, you start petting there she’ll melt in your lap and insist you keep going under threat of Claws and muscles that could bend steel

  3. Her best friends! They may not be aware they qualify as part of her hoard but she cares for them and treasures them like siblings.
    Also she’s got an amethyst as big as a human head. It’s all she can do not to gnaw on it.

Volta has no upper limit to how much charge she can hold at once, but once she gets above a certain threshold she is so “saturated” with electricity that holding onto it becomes more challenging. Not really painful, it’s not like holding your breath too long, it’s just this full-body feeling of fullness, of tension.

She’s in no real danger of getting hurt if she takes on too much but the more and more charge she takes on, the less precise control she gets over it, so she tries to save periods of holding extreme charge for when collateral damage isn’t a concern, because chances are she’ll be dealing quite a lot of it.
