Chess dot Com is celebrating by having five of its AI personalities play as historic and contemporary figures: Jane Goodwell (700), Hedy Lamarr (900), Ada Lovelace (1000), Mary Jackson (1200), and Malala Yousafzai (1500).

Its a hobby I've picked up as I need to bring balance to my life so its not all about art, as it hasn't been for some time. There's some of who want the hobby to be politically neutral, a recurring theme that's been with the olympics despite pressure to acknowledge real world issues. Entertaining myself by playing games of logic, as in the korps, Yvonne is someone I've set out to be this tactician that delights in manipulating people and events. So its a means for me to get into character, feeling all conspiratorial and gleeful as I play chess against bots of increasing difficulty. I can regularly beat them at ELO 1100 and each time I throw my head back and do that villainous laugh.
