I picked this up at Kinokuniya back when I visited Seattle, and I'm really glad I did. Because Hey! That's exactly as good as people said it would be! It totally lived up to all the hype! Nice!
It's got great art and great atmosphere, with a neat drip feed of light sci-fi and slow post disaster (?) worldbuilding. It's perfect for winding down, and being simultaneously nostalgic, and optimistic about the future. It's been a great read on weekend evenings just before sunset, paired with a fitting drink of your choice. It's been real good so far, so good that I already picked up the next two volumes (on sale, thankfully) and I'll be savoring those too. It's like a lazy river ride on a nice, quiet, late summer day.
Guess I should check out the OVA's too.
