obsessed with looking for a 2005 game maker doom clone series... all i remember is that romero heads were casually put in as a regular thing and on one screenshot the entire sky was just this color:

the games were on a html4 site with black background

the game used doom sprites but was actually probably just a modified template and had no ceiling height difference

maybe it was all just a dream......... but i remember it........
