#action figures
It's been a while! Here are some new additions - and delayed deliveries - from the past few weeks.
As for where I was those past few weeks? Well, pull up a chair; let’s have a chat.
January started off rough for us, and after that it was like hit the ground running - pedal to the metal. New position at work (same office though) and all of the new stresses that are involved with that.
So it’s not creative burnout - far from it. The creative desire is there. The time and the energy just haven’t been.
And that’s the irony here, those creative outlets - even something as simple as taking pictures of toys - become another obligation that you hold yourself accountable to. Another goal you kick yourself for not achieving.
And in my case, I wasn’t even opening new arrivals. I actually used this post as an excuse to open Ultraman Decker (and it’s a great figure)
So what’s the lesson? I don’t know! But maybe we could all take the opportunity to chill out when we need to.
Toys are supposed to fun, anyway.

I got an elliptical from my parents for Shitscram, so we've been rearranging furniture throughout the house to clear space for it and part of that involved moving the shelf I display my figures on, so I figured I'd maybe tweak things a bit here and there as I get it set back up. My TP and SS Link Figmas need to be put back up (they're currently laying behind WW Link and ALBW Link), and I have a few other figures I should probably get around to displaying as well1, seeing as I finally got around to putting up Zero after having him for nearly 8 years2.
Found this Andor figure at Walmart based on episodes 5 and 6 of the show and picked it up. I ended up giving him a different blaster than what's included to make it slightly more accurate one (wrong blaster still but it works). Really cool find I think
