Green-Man Squad
One Day One Shot

Let's shake things up with some group shots and vignettes for the next few days. Blue is my favorite color, but nothing pops on a shelf like green.

That Trap Jaw mini comic colorway is just an excellent toy. I can't wait to show it off in a future gallery.

S.H. Figuarts Son Gohan
[Battle Clothes Vers]
   - from Dragon Ball Z
   - by Bandai Spirits
One Day One Shot

Another entry in the Freeza Saga series of Figuarts - most of which was only sold on Premium Bandai, of course.

Gohan is such a great figure. It fixes some of the proportion issues the first (Saiyan Saga) Gohan figure has, and it makes great use of the limited articulation the smaller body style is capable of.

The different hair options and facial expressions are perfect too.

But if I had a complaint - and it's more of a criticism of the whole line recently - it's that you can't swap heads with the previous Gohan releases. Not without modification, anyway. Some of the heads included with this version would look great on the Saiyan Saga Gohan. Just like the long hair heads would look great on this sculpt.

Which is a shame. This is a great figure. They've been putting out some truly excellent toys, but it feels like a blatantly greedy decision that ultimately takes away from the overall enjoyment of the figure.

CiBoys Z'Gok
  - from Mobile Suit Gundam
  - by CiBoys x Bandai
One Day One Shot

CiBoys was a designer toy line that featured little rabbits (or some other small animal, but I say they're rabbits) wearing costumes. From urban fashion, to Bruce Lee characters, to classic Super Robots and more.
Here, they're dressed as Gundam characters.

And because they're costumes, the soft vinyl hats -- or, in this case, helmets -- can be removed to reveal their faces. And they had little bunny butt holes (for lack of a better word) incorporated into their designs.
Fun fact: this post was restricted on Instagram because I wrote "butt holes" - because the modern internet is a slow drip of mental torture.

And here we have a cute little bunny, dressed as a cute little robot, based on the mobile suits most famous for ending the lives of a staggering amount of main characters in one of the most tragic chapters of a series about the horrors of war. And his little booty is out.

So obviously it's one of my favorite toys.
