2020 Event Scorpion
from Mortal Kombat
by Storm Collectibles
One Day One Shot

Scorpion, aka Lon John Chaney.

I loved the original Storm Collectibles sculpt for their MK Ninjas. The MK3 sculpts were nice, but they were a little too smooth and flat for me.

But this feels like the logical evolution of the MK1 sculpt. Great texture work, and very versatile articulation.

When I do a full gallery on this figure, I have to show off the accessories. It's a great figure, and well worth tracking down.

New arrivals from Big Bad Toy Store. I've been waiting to ship these for quite some time now.

One of the most unexpected highlights being that Super7 x Brain-Dead Toxie ReAction. That one is most certainly going up on the wall.

Starting tomorrow we'll be posting another series of One Day One Shot - which will let us show off some pieces we don't normally show off, and let us focus out energy on the holiday craziness ahead.

And hopefully soon we'll have some full galleries of the toys you see here!

Back at work after a long holiday weekend.

It's getting to be a busy time for me again, so I'm planning another series of One Day - One Shot pictures.

I love writing about the toys I post - their histories and my connections to each piece. And I love planning big galleries!

But I'd rather keep the posts deliberately concise when I'm pressed for time, rather than rushing through just to update.

So expect that for the week ahead. But I've already got a few bigger galleries planned and ready to go.

Busy day in a busy week.
If you have plans with family this weekend, I hope you have fun!

Here's a very quick picture of our setup in the living room.

There should be a lot of familiar faces in here!

And of course, it's all ready for a dusting again. Even after all the dusting and rearranging we did last month. Anyone else fed up with dust? Or have any good tips for reducing dust? Let us know down below!
