Burn down AI image generators. Burn down all of them.

I've only been alive for half of the average human lifespan and I'd rather not spend the other half doubting every single photo and video I see.

Two of the new Cohost changes seem positive at surface level. But I don't have a lot of confidence that there won't be any unintended side-effects.

The "AI-slop" rule is good and proper as written. But there were a lot of examples in the comments that should have had easy "Obviously that's OK" or "Obviously not!" responses, but didn't. Which makes me worry that too much value is put in the opinions of people with a 5 year old's understanding of how a computer works.

Conversely Tag Synonyms is a problem that, in my opinion, is much more complicated than it seems at the surface. In the most basic cases ("Video Games" vs "Videogames") there is obvious low-hanging fruit. But there is also borderline violent discourse around stuff like "chili vs chilli". The potential for issues with Yanks on the Thread is also extremely high.

A lot of it either feel I can't really talk about or it's personal stuff that I prefer to keep private.

I will say this though: the rate AI is advancing if absolutely terrifying me.

Now, normally I prefer to keep posts as short as possible, so I because this is a rant and kind of spur of the moment (and also a long time coming), so I legit have no idea how long I'm going to run on this

Also want to point out before I get into all this, I don't hate AI, but the ways it's being used.
