jins for the (my) soul
sorry he's all i post about

Alien Romulus is 2/3s of a good movie, but it looks a hundred percent like a real movie in a time when every film north of $10 million looks like a student or vanity project.
- The word ‘Alien’ is not in the title
- The alien does not appear in it
If you watch Prometheus with this handy guide in mind you will have a good time. You will enjoy a meaty, lush, and occasionally funny sci-fi film. It’s great, I’ve always loved it.
If you find yourself misled, and persist in your misapprehension, you will have a bad time. You will find it frustrating, confounding, and pointless. You are the butt of a joke, you have been fooled. Realign your context and allow yourself the good movie instead. The hints you needed all along are points 1 and 2 above.
Things admittedly get muddled when Covenant is both an Alien film and a Prometheus sequel, but I don’t like that one very much so I don’t care.
