My first favourite podcast, A Life Well Wasted, released its latest episode today some 9 years after the previous one. It's been a long wait but I've kept the pod alive in my podcatcher of choice waiting for this day. The stories are all video game related with a loose theme connecting the ideas, and feature expert editing and musical cues, along with really interesting interviews with guests from all walks of life.

I can't overstate how vital this podcast was to me when I was in high school, and the hours I spent listening to the first episode 'The Death of EGM' without ever reading an issue of EGM, while mowing the front and backyard of my parent's house.

Or how 'Help' connected me to Loading Ready Run and Desert Bus for Hope, a charity that is still helping children 13 years after the episode came out.

Or how 'Big Ideas' showed me the potential value of space for humanity's future that shaped my professional career ambitions.
