jonagold apple

hey it's been a while since i rated an apple. i havent seen any new ones at the grocer until now. anyway jonagold. it's another splotchy red guy. and to be honest not one i'm gonna buy again. the sour flavor leaves a bad taste in my mouth, the guts are too chewy, biting through the skin kind of feels like flossing. sorry buddy.

mystery apple

i bought a couple apples the other day but whatever this one is had the sticker fall off. so i dont know what apple it is. it's like kind of small and red with splotches of yellow. its flesh is kind of hard to chew through and hurts my gums a little :(
and it tastes like a sour banana. like 100%. sour banana. it even smelled like a banana when i was slicing it.

*fuji apple

a splotchy shiny red apple. tastes a lot like the bottled apple cider you can buy at target in the fall. which is like not the best apple cider but it is easy to acquire so i've had a lot of it.

it was like moderately sweet without any tart and had a kind of grainy texture so definitely not my favorite but still good enough. and it was easy to bite into which is plus.

autumn glory

another red apple today. this was one juicy apple. i got an apple corer the other day to make slicing apples easier on my food autisms and when i pressed it down into this apple it literally squirted on my face. i got apple juice all over my lips and my cheek.

on top of being really wet the texture is really. grainy? i imagine this is what chewing on edible wood would feel like. that's not a bad thing it is just more grainy than the other apples by far.

tastewise nothing to really write home about good or bad. it's got a nice subtle sweetness to it. definitely a good apple to eat if you want to eat an apple with no preference for how it tastes.
