things that are louder than expected from a hard of hearing person who hasn't had a properly working hearing aid for about a couple of months:

  • mouse pad click
  • dog's breath
  • car ( you can hear the car accelerate?? )
  • general ambience of a room
  • own voice
  • keychains and pins on backpack
  • birds
  • keyboard ( can hear the difference between nail and finger hitting keys )
  • dogs barking when you're at the door
  • pop fizzing when opening
  • vinyl makes static crunchy noise before the song actually comes on
