as someone who doesn't do drawy art, artfight seems cool. since i do musicy art, i had a thought: "why isn't there music fight?" then i thought about it for literally one microsecond and realized that would be so incredibly hard to accomplish.

what would constitute an attack, like emulating someone's style? recreating a chosen snippet of music? just fuckin makin songs back and forth? themes?

some kind of core element like an instrument or melody for each person that you need to attack with

it would probably have to work on a short snippet type basis which like ehhhh

or just everyone does 1 single attack

of course the best answer is probably just "the format of artfight is fundamentally incompatible with music" but that's boring and sucks
