The Pitspawn are a race born from the ashes of an event commonly referred to as the Starfall, the bloody last stand of the war god Itos that not only led to his death, but to the death of almost every major god who opposed him.

One of those gods was Ataru, god of the sea and forefather of dragons, and when his corpse was cast down from the realm of the gods, it brought a cataclysm that laid waste to the southern tip of Ygras. Whole cities were lost to earth-shattering, months-long storms that defied modern meteorological explanation.

Those that survived those hellish circumstances were forever changed, the blood of Ataru changing them into amphibious draconic humanoids with a fearsome scaled and chitinous appearance.

I wanted to try drawing the "Light Stone" from pokemon black, at least how I imagine it. When looking for references, I realize it's canonically a lot bigger than I thought!
The round stone and the hand were so hard to get right, I'm glad I finally manage to get close to what I had in mind, even though the result might not look like much, I'm happy with how it turned out.

i remade the "intro" artwork for my ocs real quick: Urs and Aster (pictured with fronters: Rigel, Vega, Aldebaran respectively)! a bunch of tweaks to their designs here and there have happened since i made the first versions so they needed a refresh

also updated the page about the project they're part of, CaelOS.. it's mostly just graphics changes though
