Amber: Hello denizens of cohost!~ We're the Jade System or the Jades, a plural system of mixed media artists. We haven't posted anything publicly in some time since the reddit debacle, as we intended to migrate but got lost on the road of life.

We enjoy making music, digital art in both 2D and 3D spaces, programming, writing, and we have dreams of becoming game developers as well. We're also very big FOSS (free and open-source software) enthusiasts!

The day I drew this, PogeSoft suggested I draw a sand cat in overalls, which I did. What he wasn't expecting was for me to get the body sketch done within an hour of getting started. Once I drew the outfit, I did the portrait to compliment it. There's an awful lot that has to be abstracted to fit a design like this in 25 rows, but I'd say I pulled it off.
