I wish I had the confidence to do commissions for art. I wouldn't charge standard prices at all. I'd just require for something in exchange.
"How much for that 2006 high school painting of the Akuma knock-off?"
Me: Straight up trade you for a complete in box copy of Breath of Fire on the SNES.
Truth be told, a NYR that I've always had is a simple one: Draw more.
I have found myself in a more creative space now that my setup is downstairs and away from all the chaos from the kids upstairs. Slowly but surely I'm teaching myself the comic process. The range of emotions I experience doing this stuff is a gaping maw. I want to channel it more efficiently because of my hyper-fixations rotate. I did accomplished more in the art skill tree in 2023 than I have in any other year.
Hope y'all accomplish and progress one of your skill trees this year!
