Hello, I am wildweasel, and I understand it is Portfolio Day.

I am primarily a digital artist and writer; I do stuff in a lot of different media types that are not commonplace. A lot of my expertise is in manipulation of graphic formats and getting them ready to use on various types of web hosting, game engines, old hardware, or other unusual circumstances.

As far as writing goes:

• Non-fiction articles and informative blogs. I have written for Hardcore Gaming 101, as well as unpaid work for personal blog projects: Grinding the Rumor Mill (2016) and Turn of a Friendly Card.
• Genre fiction. A lot of it I've published on this very website, with a handful of ongoing series - examples I'm particularly happy with include this sci-fi space-opera chapter, this fantasy chapter, and this mech-pilot one.

And I also have experience designing and adjusting game balance for first-person shooter mods, the most readily available example of which is Cola 3, for GZDoom.

Would you like to hire me or refer me to a hiring agent? Perhaps buy a commission piece? Maybe drop me a few bucks for my troubles?

I had a fair amount of leftover paint after mixing some for a recent painting, and at a friend's suggestion did a thin layer of it on a few pages of my sketchbook to draw on top of later. This is the first result.
