my piece for the @/bloodlineszine on tumblr

This was the first tumblr post I had that went off, I think its when I really started to allow myself to play and experiment. I started calling them dags instead of dogs to free myself from the idea that they needed to be a particular shape, instead it was about energy, movement, and vibes.

I'm pretty sure I sketched this one on a plane, originally. I've made a lot of old ladies on planes slightly concerned.

This is a really early Dag painting. The Texas-ness is more present here since the background is based on a snap I took of the highway. Its been a while since I painted them in an environment like this, but I've thought about getting back to it.
