long lore story short: Lathyrus was a friend of Beanbean kingdom's prince at the time, Prince Calyx. he then learned about shadow magic, betrayed Calyx, and was then exiled out of the kingdom after the two fought. he then managed to join the Shadow Queen during a modified version of the pre-canon events of TTYD. after fighting the heroes from the legend (which included a young toad he had trained briefly at that time) he fled, dying afterwards and being shoved into the deepest part of The Underwhere.

and that's his backstory so far (not including the present stuff w/ Sinder and such)

I need help to fill the gap for the next few months. I'm again extremely behind on debts and having a really hard time.

I should've asked for help so many times these past few months... Trauma keeping me from actually asking for help, I guess. Heck.

But vocational rehab kicks in next week-ish, and things are improving! I probably will even have a survival job within the next few weeks, if I'm lucky.

Also, I'm starting a daily update comic tomorrow (the 29th). I'm excited about it. It might not be 100% every day, but... mostly daily.

I'll break down how much I need and where it's going again in a subsequent post. I'll be trying to work for it, of course, but I'm actively being told by friends to not stretch myself out any more than I am, so... y'know.

Decided to design a new pokemon OC. Meet Sade the cofagrigus. She is 7 feet tall and spooky. She is also really rude and a bully but its ok cause shes cute

Today's Lospec #pixel_dailies #pixelart prompt was bat with a fantastic (and very Halloween-y) palette -- https://lospec.com/palette-list/cobalt-desert-7 -- did a study/tileset from Batman on NES here, the palette was very close! I've talked before about how gorgeous the tiles/sprites are in this game, I just adore the dark backgrounds and popping neon colors so much.
