I Need Some Help!

Right now, I'm in the middle of a big move into my first apartment. And while this should be very exciting (it is), it's also coming at a really hard time financially for me. I'm disabled and on a fixed income - everything I make and then some goes to bills (meaning I overdraft basically every month), which means I can't afford the new bills coming my way like rent and utilities.
I got this place through my state's housing voucher program, and while that means the state takes care of a large portion of the rent, my rent share, while small by comparison, is still completely unaffordable to me. I am also responsible for utilities like water and electric as well as fees to park my car. All of this is coming to $600 (USD) a month.

Commissions are currently closed, but will open up once the chaos of moving subsides. In the meantime, I have some pieces up in my Redbubble shop and am working on putting up more. 8/24/24 Update: I got $250 from a family friend for watching her pets and house while she's away! Only $278 to go!! Rent is due on September 1st! Thank y'all so much!

9/1/24 Update: Wow thank you so much!! My brother has given me $100 for giving him rides back and forth from work this past week! Which now means I only have $178 to go!! This is so amazing thank y'all for everything! 🥹🥹🥹
9/4/24 Update: So, it turns out that the voucher program has not submitted any of the payments as of yet. They owe the first month's rent and security deposit as well as this month's rent. I called yesterday to get it straightened out, so crossing my fingers that they pay their share soon and I don't get evicted because of them when I just got here. 🙃 Also, as of right now I have enough to cover my rent share and parking fee, but not utilities. Keep boosting! Thank you all who have donated and boosted so far! It means the world!
9/27/24: So a final update of sorts: Payment wasn't submitted before because the housing authority apparently never recieved documents signed by the property owner. So either they didn't sign it, or the paperwork was lost by the housing authority. Either way someone official fucked up. So, i reached out to both parties and hopefully it gets taken care of soon. I am fully funded as of now for this month! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and see you elsewhere, as cohost goes down!
