I have a lot of art materials I don't use nearly often enough. Today I dug up my oil pastels, and enjoyed messing around with them. It's clearly a medium I'm not accustomed to, but that makes it all the more fun!

Different oil pastel set, more colours, which as you can see doesn't help in terms of getting better results. Still had fun in making this, but am realizing that I'm definitely not getting the "Oh it's so smooth and fun to smudge around :D" experience anyone else is getting. And I don't think I feel like buying more expensive sets to get that, either.
