#artwork
also: ##art, #art
i was really hoping this wouldn't happen. i enjoyed posting to cohost more than anywhere else
i am sannesakura on discord. feel free to add me as a friend. i'm also a member of the touhou replay showcase discord, though i'm a bit too shy to post there very much
i have a youtube channel as well, but it's more of a repository for videos and i don't upload many public videos there
lastly, i have a twitch account. i was actually planning on streaming a bit more often starting later this month! it was going to be a big surprise... not anymore i guess
i suppose i'll need to find somewhere else to post art and touhou progress stuff. i haven't really decided where yet. nowhere seems good since i don't do well on platforms with algorithms and that's all that seems available right now. i'm sorry
i do want to amend this post and say that i am planning on opening new accounts elsewhere! (i'm bad at conveying tone sometimes, sorry!)
i'll update the post when i decide on where i'm moving to. i still want to post my art online. it's just not possible for me to set up anything right now since i'm not at home
I've been looking into starting a Discord artsy-fartsy community that's sort of witch-themed? Magic-themed. Whatever that means to you. Wherever you are on that spectrum and whatever shape it takes for you!
It is to be called THE GLOAMLOAF
(The Gradual Linkage of Assorted Magics Learned of Any Friends) [Aka, we'll gradually link stuff that could maybe be considered assorted magic (art, cooking, travels, experiences or otherwise, and we're friendlies? Honestly I just thought it sounded funny.)
GLOAM means TO BECOME NIGHT, or TWILIGHT
LOAF means .. LOAF
This is a coven in the way a treehouse in the woods for nerdy teens is a coven.
Mostly the idea would be an open place for people who wish to come in, share what they make, what they're doing in life, and how they are with others.
We have a very loose definition of magic and the idea is that it is to be a place where all can share. Hoping to have bi-monthly drawpiles and similar events?
We're also setting up a COMMUNITY RUNE where, in the order people join, they'll be asked to make a little mark on a steadily growing and changing rune if they're willing! I think this is cool because everyone has their own unique experience to add.
If this is something that sounds interesting to you, let me know? All are welcome!
