Fun Fact: I actually planned on doing a series on my YouTube channel where I played games I discovered through indie devs on Cohost, but I could never figure out how I wanted to format it.
Here is a WiP thumbnail I drew for the video where I'd be playing i miss when the internet was chronological by @capnka. I never actually ended up playing the game because, again, I didn't know how to format the series.
I wanted to use it as a vehicle to share small indie games that were posted to Cohost, also attempting to get more indies to start using Cohost, but, at the same time, didn't want to tie each game to being a "Cohost game" since, outside of the promotional methods employed by the developers, the games had nothing to do with Cohost.
Although, the main problem was that I didn't know how to easily—through the video's thumbnail or title—explain that Cohost is a social media, since a lot of people might see a title like "The Unlife Of Gorlak - Games I Found on Cohost" and conclude that Cohost is a digital game storefront much like GameJolt or Itch.io. (The Unlife of Gorlak is a game by @LandsharkRAWR.) There were too many problems with the idea, so I never followed through with it.
With Cohost coming to an end, the possibility of the series' existence fades, so I feel like it's as good a time as any to share this, rather than letting the thumbnail sit in my files, and the idea in my mind, never to be known by anyone but me.
