I drew and posted a pixel-art image of the boss from Laser Battle, a 1981 arcade game made by Italian developer Zaccaria (better known for its pinball tables) and released in the U.S. by Midway as Lazarian, while it was being featured on the November 20, 2023 Push to Reject stream on LordBBH's Twitch channel, then refined and expanded it after the stream ended. This eldritch monstrosity I formed from its primitive graphics was purposefully drawn in the EGA palette exclusively with colors similar to those featured in the game (which uses a dark and muted palette for some reason). This may or may not be the first piece of fan art ever made for this game, given it was not successful in its time (hence its appearance on the stream) and has remained obscure to this day.
