Because the Museum of Vanished Things is so large, traveling around the piles of objects at an efficient pace is very important. Unfortunately this can be difficult when the two Immortal Things who know how best to do so are difficult to work with....

Kimaris is a lazy shirker, constantly dodging his duties of organization to wonder around the darkest areas of the Museum by the light of his phone screen. He always appears to be looking for something, but no one's quite sure if that's even the case. He can be hard to deal with due to his generally difficult personality, which makes him stand out among the friendly disposition of the rest of the Immortal Things. His Thing to teach is grammar, logic and rhetoric, though of course he doesn't seem too inclined to teach anything. His Secret Thing is navigating total darkness, which is easy enough to do when your head automatically shines in the dark. You're better off just following him around then asking him to teach you have to navigate such areas.

Seir's haughty personality makes her almost as difficult to endure as Kimaris, but you can at least pay her in coins, something she collects as a hobby, to get her to help you. There are several coin-operated short cuts around the Museum that she knows the location of as well as where they lead to. She also just keeps finding them without much effort on her part, so just by being around her long enough, you can "learn" her Secret Thing of Fast Traveling. She can also teach you about Abundance, but, just like Fast Traveling, you can learn how to collect and store coins just by paying attention to her actions. Her head is appropriately a coin purse.
