This is possibly my favourite stained glass pattern and colour variant that I've done. It's also the most complex, so I guess I should do more elaborate designs.
It's also available as a print
the main character of this dream was a kid who could for whatever reason reach into objects and stretch the internal components of said object, stretch them out (regardless of how rigid the internal components are, he can basically make them rubbery) and release them like a slingshot, thus prompting me to name him shot.
there was something about him stealing scraps and selling them, specifically bronze scraps. he also stole a small yellow bike which he uses to get to the ramps quicker.
im debating on whether or not i should tie this in with an existing universe or start from scratch. the fact that shot has a power suggests that he may be a devil but honestly i wouldnt mind otherwise. that universe is already way too overthought lmao
I'm working on a short comic for a space opera, sci-fi zine. The story is semi-Lancer inspired. Semi-inspired in that I'm basing it off characters @WhimsyMachine and I made three years ago for a campaign that hasn't happened yet and my vague, half recollections of the setting/rules 😂 I'm trying out making this comic completely digitally. It's been an experience so far. It has its pros and cons, but I'm trying to reserve final judgement for once I've 100% finished it. What I do know for sure is that pencils and sketching feels a million times better on the iPad than it does on my Gaomon tablet, oh my gosh.
I started in on some color tests for this last night. Mostly I was just frustrated by Procreate, but 24 hours later I don't hate the progress I made.
