A late Throwback Thursday with Rika Maki, human turned insect. The idea was that anthropomorphic bugs might not work due to how bug anatomy depends on small size. Forcefully mutated by mad scientist or whatever. Kind of a lot of emotional baggage that she's still recovering from. She's a gangly gal who isn't very good at social interaction but she's trying her best!

I challenged myself with a 2 page spread for our Grand Summoners Zine. One A4 size is already too much for me to handle! I was inspired by someone's tweet/screenshot from the game saying the scene when the boys part ways looks like an anime scene. The game doesn't go too deep into the stories or characters but I really tried to bring out the charm of all the characters with this illustration!
