When a group of 7 Lost Souls Sing together, they become one type of each Graveling, forming a “Funeral Home.” They can make their Home larger by finding Lost Souls and singing along with them. Doing this can lead to large Funeral Homes and sometimes different Funeral Homes will occupy the same graveyard.

When several Funeral Homes come together to fight, it's called a Funeral Procession.

No one is quite sure why Gravelings only come into being when exactly 7 Lost Souls Sing. It might be some link to the Voices since half of 13 would be 6.5, which rounds up to 7. They may have always been the way The Ageless Black was going to protect itself from the Void before the Voices were born.
