well shit, I got the itch to draw for the first time in like, years, and now I can't find the power cable for my tablet. I went to all the trouble of getting it out, dusting it off (literally), hooking up the hdmi & usb cables, but the power lead is nowhere to be found :(

Occasionally, a Shadow will leave the side of its source and go off on its own. This usually isn't a concern as a Shadow usually cannot live without its source and will be back in its place in time. However, every so often, a Shadow will gain a sense of self and become independent. It then becomes a Shadow of a Demon. As for the person who lost their shadow, they will be all right physically, but they will always feel like they're forgetting something and they will no longer cast a shadow.

A Shadow appears as a black-filled shape of whatever its source is. It's flat and 2 Dimensional and has no discerning features. It's as close as humanoid as one can get without adding on facial features or hair.
A Shadow of a Demon gains a 3 Dimensional body, eyes with white pin points and a large jagged mouth. They become very expressive thereafter. They lose their smooth shape and gain either a jagged or wobbly outline, depending on their preference.
