when i was still a kid, i made a shitty edit of mega man's Marvel vs. Capcom sprite to resemble bass. in 2021 i decided to revisit that idea and i'm very proud of how it turned out (i snuck him into a mocked-up screenshot of the game to complete the image; note, again, everything else in that image besides bass is NOT my creation, it's from Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Superheroes). also, even though i don't normally limit my color palettes, i decided to stick to the 16-color limits capcom themselves used for these sprites

When you're far, far away from home, there's no easy way back. It may take hundreds of years simply to return. More often than not, you're on a completely barren planet with no intelligent life. Being by yourself for years on end gets pretty lonely after a while.
