A close friend of mine had a birthday on Friday, and I painted his current favorite character as a gift! It was interesting doing something so different from what I usually do in terms of style.

As far as the title goes, my friend has a humorous, self-deprecating kind of personality, and he's well aware of the many furry stereotypes. With that in mind, I decided to give this portrait a more tongue-in-cheek kind of title. It went over very well, thankfully!

My god, there are only 2 days left in the Great 30 (but really 31) Day Spreadsheet Attempt. It’s really interesting, and I’m making a note of this so I can put it in my round-up appraisal later, how this generated so many other kinds of work besides drawing! An artist really has to do it all !!!! But oh well, the drawing is the main thing…

Finally posting OCs. I've been trying to kind of combine the sort of art I would do in college with my more cartoony stuff and I think I'm starting to get there. These are 2 of my favorite OCs, Virgil and Chris. I'll post more of them later :).
