Do you feel a different level of “expected completion” for a lack of better words between the two? In my head I feel more expected to finish things when working digitally. Like since it’s easier to fox issues and try different things, that there should be more polish on pieces. Where with a sketch book, I feel like I can be far more selective of what I would ink and color.
Perhaps this is the growing pains of learning digital? I’m just surprised that I have this internal drive of “it’s so easy to flat color, do it!” And the like in me with digital work.
