Lately I've been treating canvases on my ipad as sketchbook pages, letting myself just doodle and then refining the pieces I actually like. Very fond of this silly chubby great white and might make it September's sticker.

I wanted to share a bit about this thing/app I've been working on: Compression Drawing. It explores JPEG artifacts and recursive image processing through an MS Paint inspired environment. Here's a creepy sketch I made with it!

It's made with P5.JS, Electron, and other node packages (GM, Express, Socket.IO). (It runs only locally tho, hahaha). If I knew a better language for intensive drawing and file system stuff I would, but I took one college course on creative computation (very good class).
I have a repo for it on github, but I need to update it with some changes and fine tuning. I'm also working on more documentation for it since I want to use it in an application for a program's upcoming fall semester. I need to include at least one project with it and this will be it! I really hope I get accepted, I want to expand my art brain.
