In the original game, the Giant's Knife and Big Goron's Sword are identical.
The only visible difference between the two comes from the 3DS remake where the Pommel (bottom most part of the sword) is Blue for the Giant's Knife, and Gold for the Big Goron's Sword, whereas both had blue in the N64 version.

Still salty they retconned Link's pink hair as nothing more than a hardware limitation. (It's because of the bunny in the Dark World.)
