There is nothing quite so delightful as when someone sends an image saying, "Hey, this reminded me of you." It happened a lot with the Manticore from Onward (which was deeply entertaining to me, by the by), and from time to time I still get sweet little surprises.

as a fellow silly pun/wordplay lover - do you have any tips for getting in the mindset that making people groan with these sort of jokes is a success rather than feeling bad about their 'rejection'?
(honestly we don't understand why such wordplay is seen as "bad" or not genuinely funny, but that could be the 'not being neurotypical' at work perhaps)
If you meant for someone to go 'AAAAUGH!' at your pun, it's a way different sensation to someone making that noise when you'd really just meant a perfectly innocent joke. Honestly, hammer as hard as you can as often as you can at the stupidest, most ridiculous jokes you can make of the English language - or anything else, besides - and get into the spirit of words are fucking made up and nothing is sacred! Have fun with it! :3
there is no praise or compliment you can muster that is more pure and genuine to me than a "god fucking damn it, mack" at one of my jokes
